The Director of Public Relations is responsible for managing and coordinating all public relations efforts of the college, including publications, news releases, media relations, promotional advertising, special public events, social media management, and assistance with website management. The director will implement and ensure appropriate branding of the institution through all graphic design services.
Required Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, or seeking a Bachelor’s degree, and valid driver’s license, proficiency in public speaking, written and oral communication skills, and advanced knowledge in journalism, graphic design, and communications. The candidate should have 3 years of full-time management or professional-level experience in public relations or an occupation where the job functions, skills, and knowledge were demonstrated regularly.
Flexible work schedule with main working hours to be a 4-day work week Monday to Thursday. Supplemental insurances are also offered.
The salary range is based on experience within the range of $47,000 to $53,000 annually. This is a full-time, Exempt position. The position remains open until filled. Applications will be reviewed as received.
