Job Description:
Westchester Community College seeks part-time adjuncts to teach a one-credit First-Year Seminar course for the fall 2023 semester. The course is contextualized for each school with an emphasis on academic, career, and transfer pathways; study skills; familiarity with campus resources; and awareness of real-world life skills. The Adjunct will teach the First-Year Seminar according to the course curriculum. Applicants must be enthusiastic about teaching first-year students and demonstrate an understanding of the college experience. Incumbents will participate in faculty development activities to include a one day-long orientation meeting on May 16, 2023.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited university and one-year of experience are required.
Additional Information:
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Fall 2023
SALARY & BENEFITS: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
