ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, will design, lead, and implement all outreach programs and events run by the Center; oversee the Trust Center's impact-oriented portfolio of outreach initiatives designed to advance the field of innovation-driven entrepreneurship on campus at MIT and globally with strategic collaborators, and a variety of other special events; collaborate with faculty, students, and Center staff to deliver programs designed to engage collaborators across campus and around the world to help them become more effective entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship educators; and liaise with internal and external organizations and corporate members to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Job Requirements:REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of three years of administrative, operations, and/or project/program management experience; excellent communication skills – including understanding, and joy in providing, excellent customer service; a great team player and ability to work with others to bring out the best in them as well as yourself; ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity, small failure, and imperfect information while attempting to bring order to it and to run significant events; interest in the field of entrepreneurship; ability to identify problems and fix them and take initiative in accomplishing tasks; robust computer and technical skills, including MS Suite, Adobe Suite, and ability to learn new programs quickly and to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment. Salary range: $73,490 - $98,283 - $123,075, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
This is a two-year term position with full benefits.
Hours can vary based on the event schedule and workload and must be able to work occasional evening events and travel domestically.
