Job Summary
The University of Michigan Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology (C.S. Mott Children's Hospital) is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in general gastroenterology to join our team. The job will provide clinical care at both C.S. Mott (50%) and Sparrow Hospital (50%) in Lansing, MI. The job will focus on both outpatient and inpatient care. There are also opportunities for the development of scholarly activities (research) and for leadership. Job duties will include at C.S. Mott: the inpatient GI service, inpatient consultations, out-patient care, endoscopic procedures, supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; the activity at Sparrow will focus on outpatient clinics, outpatient endoscopic procedures, and inpatient consults. There is opportunity for scholarly activity and administrative duties. Rank of selected candidates is dependent upon qualifications.

Required Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO degree, be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Gastroenterology, and will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.
