We are seeking to hire a casual Senior Research Assistant (25 hours/week) to assist with genomic analyses related to tuberculosis contact investigation in South Africa.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities 

• Management of genomic data (M. tuberculosis genomes).
• Use of bioinformatic pipeline to process genomic data.
• Performance of analyses related to transmission and clustering.

• Creation of tables and figures to summarize data.
  

• Writing of manuscripts and delivery of oral presentations to disseminate results.

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
• Two years of related experience.
• Additional graduate level education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

• MPH or MS in relevant field preferred.
  

• Experience in laboratory or computational science.
• Ability to code in R.
