POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist responsible to review, test, and confirm that all deliverables meet quality standards including style, tone, structure, grammar, and other aspects relevant to the deliverable.

• Reviews, tests, and confirms that all deliverables meet quality standards including style, tone, structure, grammar, and other aspects relevant to the deliverable.
• Confirms source materials are properly cited or referenced, when applicable.
• Provides timely, detailed and meaningful feedback on quality assurance review tasks.
• Develops new quality standards and checklists, as needed.
• Updates existing quality standards in response to changing project needs.
• Review and provide feedback on other documents, presentations, or memos as needed.

Payrate:$158,932 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or applied linguisticsFamiliarity with various style manuals and standards.
• 2-3 years of editing and proofreading experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and SharePoint.
• Software testing experience, is preferred.
• Four (4) years of work experience in quality control of IMI products.
