Overview

Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures | Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design | Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements

Major Position Responsibilities

* Supervises the development and implementation of industrial manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.

* Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively.

* Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.

* Implements effective manufacturing engineering methods and provides technical guidance and acts as a resource for manufacturing engineers.

* Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.

* Supervises the evaluation of products based on specifications and quality standards.

* Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.

Basic Qualifications
    Required Education: Associates degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience
  • Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree preferred
  • Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years of experience in a relevant function. Must have experience in leadership roles.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Leadership skills. 5S methodology. As-Is analysis. Manufacturing Engineering. Failure analysis. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Integrity engineering. Lean manufacturing. Process integration. Production engineering. Rapid prototyping. Statistical process control. Value engineering. Workflow optimization. Workload analysis. CAD software. Computer-aided engineering (CAE) software. Oral and written communication. Critical thinking. Analytical thinking.
  • Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Pay Range (USD)
80,080.00 - 148,720.00
Additional Compensation
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
