Job Description:
Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a part-time Professional Tutor for Accounting. This hourly, grant-funded position provides academic assistance to students in the subject of accounting. This assistance includes offering student one-to-one and group tutoring. The tutor will provide academic support to students enrolled in Accounting Principles I and II, and will maintain records indicating use of professional accounting services. The schedule will be determined by the Chair to serve the needs of students. All tutoring will be conducted on campus; this is not a remote position.
Requirements:
Required: Associate's Degree in Accounting or related degree with sufficient accounting courses; excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written skills.

Additional Information:
Pay: $19/hr.
