The McKenna Center seeks a Senior Program Coordinator to support the initiatives of the Center through administrative and organizational skills to enable the Center and its partners to realize high impact programming and research goals. This position, in collaboration with Center leadership, will coordinate the implementation and operational management of the newly launched, South Bend Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program (SBEAP) Collaboration Hub. This position will report to the Program Manager of the Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Program Support
Program Support
- Provides project management support ensuring that Notre Dame students assigned to the program and SBEAP alumni have access to the SBEAP Collaboration Hub.
- Works to match student volunteers with SBEAP alumni seeking services; tracks meetings to ensure they are progressing in a productive manner; and, helps address obstacles as they emerge.
- Assists and trains SBEAP alumni in the use of equipment, including computers, printers, software, and other resources.
- Contributes to the planning and strategic direction, helping to establish annual goals for this new initiative as it continues to develop.
- Updates all tracking and CRM systems as needed.
Event Coordination
- Provides logistical support for training sessions and events organized by the SBEAP Collaboration Hub, including, planning training events, inviting speakers, managing registration, ordering food, planning technological support, and duplicating training material as needed.
- Provides guidance to student workers and volunteers assigned to the training sessions or events.
Administrative Support
- Send reminders to student consultants and SBEAP alumni regarding their appointments.
- Track attendance at training, consulting services provided, and resources accessed.
- Monitor supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Manage communication with external stakeholders, in consultation with the McKenna Center Program Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associates
Experience: 1-2 years

- Required Skills:
- Detail-oriented
- Experience managing projects and events
- Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Business experience in the private sector
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelors
- Experience with poverty and disadvantage
