Communications Specialist
Job Description
Develop and execute communications plans to support organizational goals. Write, edit, and proofread content for various communications channels, including website, email, print, and social media.
TYPICAL DUTIES
- Partner with the marketing and business teams to create and refine copy that drives brand and campaign success.
- Develop engaging website content, including short-form articles and impactful landing page copy.
- Produce and polish content for social media, emails, and promotional materials.
- Produce monthly internal newsletter
- Present persuasive copy concepts that captivate and convert audiences.
- Collaborate with the Brand team to brainstorm and craft diverse marketing assets.
- Conduct keyword research, generate captivating content, and ensure top-notch quality through meticulous proofreading.
- Leverage data to shape and enhance content strategy
, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, or a related field and experience in marketing or content writing.
- Three- five years' experience in storytelling within the AEC or consulting services market
- Demonstrated success in crafting compelling websites and digital media copy.
- Proven record of accomplishment in executing effective marketing campaigns.
- Strong multitasking ability with a knack for creating error-free, brand-aligned content that meets deadlines.
- Advanced skills in SEO, social media strategy, and web content writing
- Expertise in UX principles
- Proficient with standard office software.
- Creative, adaptable, and collaborative with a growth mindset.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Capable of traveling to and from external office sites.
- Ability to use equipment for communication and documentation purposes.
- Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
