At the undergraduate level, the Department of Economics offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Economics. The department also offers a Master’s of Economics degree as well as a Ph.D. in Economics. Fields of concentration include Econometrics, Microeconomics/IO, Environmental Economics, Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and International Economics.
Essential Job Duties
The Department of Economics is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer, Non-Tenure Track Faculty (part-time). Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal.
Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses on the undergraduate or graduate curriculum, depending on the department’s needs. Teaching is in one of the following areas: Microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics, and/or law and economics. Teaching locations include our main campus in Raleigh.
Specific hiring needs for the upcoming academic year have yet to be determined.

Contributing member of the department, college, and university.
Minimum Education and Experience
Requires doctoral degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest.
Other Required Qualifications
Excellent teaching ability.
A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.
