The Human Resources Administrator provides critical support to the Human Resources team. Our ideal candidate has experience with a wide variety of HR procedures and can juggle frequently changing administrative tasks with ease.
This is a Full Time position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Human Resources Administrator provides critical support to the Human Resources team. Our ideal candidate has experience with a wide variety of HR procedures and can juggle frequently changing administrative tasks with ease.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answers and directs HR departmental phone calls, email, and office mail.
- Manages departmental invoices and reconciles receipts.
- Assists in HRIS processing of employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, etc.
- Assists in preparation of HR reports such as attendance, new hire, termination, and turnover.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Manages permissions, access, and other system operations for HRIS users.
- Assists recruiter with job postings, background checks, pre-employment tests, offer letters, and related tasks.
- Assists with preparation and presentation of new employee orientations and training programs.
- Assists with onboarding of new employees.
- Maintains HRIS records, the document management system and related filing.
- Completes all employment verifications.
- Helps maintain job descriptions, employee handbook, and organizational HR communications.
- Complies with federal and state HR regulations, and YMCA of Greater Cleveland’s policies and procedures.
Education
- Associates Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on administrative experience supporting a human resources department, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong skills with HRIS administration and data entry.
- HR experience including recruitment, performance, and HRIS administration.
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Professional Human Resource (PHR) or other HR certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to a diverse population.
- Work independently and exhibit initiative.
- Supportive team player.
- Superior attention to detail, performing with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent time management, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
- HRIS experience with preference for ADP, Kronos, or Ceridian.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Presentation and facilitation skills in both large and small training groups.
- Willing to embrace the organizational mission and standards.
